Pennsylvania Attorney Mike Finn

Biography

Mike Finn is an accomplished trial lawyer with extensive experience advocating for clients in personal injury cases throughout Pennsylvania.

His personal injury practice focuses on car and truck crashes, dram shop, premises liability, insurance bad faith, dog bites, and professional liability cases. Mike graduated from Danville Area High School in 2000. He earned a scholarship to Villanova University, and as a member of the Wildcat Football Team, he was elected as team Captain and garnered numerous accolades, including Academic All-American. Mike graduated with honors from Villanova in 2004, and later went on to obtain his Law Degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2009.

Prior to joining Fanelli, Evans, & Patel, P.C., Mike worked as a prosecutor in the Northumberland County District Attorney’s Office. His time in the District Attorney’s Office afforded him invaluable experience litigating thousands of diverse criminal matters, including numerous jury and bench trials. Mike left the District Attorney’s Office to join a Sunbury law firm where his practice was primarily devoted to criminal defense and civil litigation, including representing a large insurance company.

Mike has always had a yearning to help and serve others, and this desire has only grown stronger after witnessing his fair share of injustices that many good and deserving people suffer from by being pitted against powerful institutions and special interests. Recognizing that the courts are one of the few remaining arenas where a David can slay a Goliath, Mike affirmed his calling: to protect and fight for the underdog.

Mike is now able to pursue that calling as a member of Fanelli, Evans, & Patel, P.C. In addition to his personal injury practice, Mike uses his legal skill to serve his community by working as a solicitor for townships and municipal authorities, functioning as guardian ad litem in custody and orphan’s court matters, by serving as an arbitrator, and by performing pro bono legal work for indigent individuals and non-profit organizations.

Mike resides in the Danville area with his wife, Danielle, and their two daughters, Harper and Haven. In his time away from work and family, Mike enjoys strength training. His commitment and talent in strength training culminated when he was crowned Pennsylvania’s Strongest Man in 2014 after winning the Commonwealth’s annual strongman event.
